Miami DB Makes An Impression On Noles
"The Florida State camp was great," 6-foot-1 and 187 pound safety Dorian Munroe said. "I would rate the camp an 11. We got to take the whole tour and meet Coach Bowden. I also got to meet some of the players. I met J.R. Bryant and I got to talk with him for a long time. Florida State is definitely in my top three."
The Noles haven't offered him yet but that could change soon because of his outstanding performance.
"I had about five pass breakups and one interception," the four-star prospect said. "Coach Andrews told me I did well and he also told my coach I did well. They said that something will be coming in the mail soon. My coach thinks they are going to offer."
Munroe also spent some time camping with the Gators in Gainesville.
"I like the Florida camp as well," he said. "However, I didn't get to spend as much time there as Florida State because a couple of my teammates needed to get back to Miami. They did offer though."
Munroe told The Territory.org that he's also high on Georgia and North Carolina State.
"Georgia has offered and I like their coach," he said. "I also like North Carolina State a lot."
The South Florida standout has been turning heads at every camp he attends. He was named the Camp MVP for the Miami Hurricanes camp.
When will he pull the trigger?
"My parents want me to wait to signing day," he said. "But they also said if there's someplace that I'm set on going after taking my official visits, they would be fine with me deciding early."
Munroe is an excellent student who is academically qualified.
