Five-Star LB Visits Noles

On Friday The No. 3 rated linebacker in the country made another unofficial visit to Tallahassee. The last time he visited with the Noles, he met with all of assistant coaches. This time around he got to meet with Head Coach Bobby Bowden.

br>"It went real well," linebacker Eugene Hayes of Madison County (Fla.) said. "My impression of him is that he's a really family type of coach. He cares about his players. I would rate my visit an eight."

Despite having a very good visit Hayes wasn't ready to name a top list of schools.

"I'm open now," he said. "I'll probably make my decision around the middle of the season or after the season is complete."

The Madison County standout's mother and father joined their son on the visit.
It went real well," Mr. Hayes said. "Coach Bowden was very cordial and we learned a lot from him. We look forward to making more visits to Florida State during the season."

The five-star linebacker is working very hard on qualifying academically. He improved his grade point average over the summer and he passed the FCAT test.

Hayes is considered one the top pass-rushers in the Southeast. As a junior, he was third in the state with quarterback sacks (18 ½) by earning a spot on the class 2A all-state and all-big-bend team.
