6-foot-6 WR Takes In Seminole Win

One of the top football/basketball prospects from the state of South Carolina took in the Florida State/ Clemson showdown this weekend. Did the Seminole win make an impression on the 6-foot-6 and 198 pound standout with 4.4 40-yard dash speed?

"It was neat," wide receiver Chadwick Grey of Kingstree (SC) said.  "I would rate my unofficial visit a seven.  I like the school, the team and the players.  I met Cro Thorpe and number 15 (Chauncey Stovall)."

The South Carolina native has football offers from the Florida State, South Carolina, Clemson and North Carolina.  He has basketball offers from Georgia, South Carolina and Charleston in basketball.  Where do the Noles stand with him?

"My top three is Florida State, Georgia and North Carolina State," he said.  "Florida State is my favorite now but it's the only school I've seen so far.  I like Coach Steele.  I like Georgia because I can play both football and basketball there plus they are a very good football team.  North Carolina State has a good situation at wide receiver."

Grey unsure when he'll take his official visits and he has no plans for anymore unofficial visits this fall.

So far this year, his team is off to a rocky start with a 1-3 record.  However, it hasn't stopped him from getting off to a fast start by receiving over 500 yards with two touchdowns.  Last year as a junior he averaged 17 points per game in basketball.

"I want to play both football and basketball in college," he said.  "I'm rated the No. 7 best player in the state."
