Noles Impress NJ Standout

On Saturday The No.8 rated in the country took an official trip down south to watch the Florida State Seminoles take on the Clemson Tigers. How did the Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep like his first taste of Southern Football?

"I was very impressed," defensive back Michael Ray Garvin said. "I was impressed with the school, the city and the intensity of the game." I've been to Rutgers/Michigan State and Penn State/Boston College but those games don't compare to what I saw Saturday. There was way more talent on the field. I liked Tallahassee. The weather was warm and it like there's a lot to do there. My father was impressed as well."

Garvin's host was freshman Tony Cater. He also got to meet freshman cornerback Trevor Ford.

Next up for Garvin will be an official visit to Georgia when the Bulldogs take on Tennessee The New Jersey standout told that the Noles and Dawgs are still the two teams to beat.

What is Garvin looking in a school?

"I'm looking at academics and a school with a good sports program," he said. "I'm looking for a place that I feel comfortable with the coaches and players. Someplace that I can fit in."

Garvin's team is off to a perfect 2-0 start. In his last game, he intercepted a pass and rushed for 224 yards with two touchdowns.
