Alabama DL is High on FSU

One of the top defensive players from the state of Alabama made his second unofficial visit to Florida State last weekend. Did theNoles make an impression with the 6-foot-6 and 245 pound defensive lineman?

"It was great," Bobby Greenwood of Prattville (AL) said. "It was a good game and I was glad I could bring another big-time recruit with me. I brought my teammate Rico Albert who has also been offered by Florida State."

Greenwood told Scout.com that he would rate his visit to Tallahassee as a 9.9 on a scale from one to ten.

"Everything about it was great," he said. "Florida State is at the top of my list. I'm definitely coming back for official visit."

Normally, it's very difficult for the Noles to land prospects out of the state of Alabama. However, with Greenwood it's a different situation.

"I'm originally from St. Petersburg (Fla.) and my family moved to Alabama when I was either 11 or 12 years old," he said. "I didn't have a favorite school growing up. I followed all of them. It doesn't matter If I stay instate or attend school out of state."

Other schools he considering are Auburn, Alabama and Vanderbilt.

Through seven games, Greenwood has recorded ten sacks.
