"Right now I have offers from Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, UCF, Oklahoma, LSU and Georgia Tech," Brian Ellis said. "Right now I have plans to officially visit Florida State (1/7), Florida, UCF and LSU."

So far this year, the three-star standout hasn't unofficially visited any of his favorites yet. However, he does have plans to attend the Florida/Florida State game on (11/20) in Doak Campbell stadium.

Despite, the firing of Florida Head Coach Ron Zook, the Gators remain heavily in the hunt.

"The firing of Zook isn't the biggest factor with me." Ellis said. "Playing time is the biggest factor and I probably can on the field earliest at Florida."

Where do the Noles stand with him?

"They are up there," he said. "All the teams on my list are equal. I'm just concentrating on football and my grades. I take the SAT test on (12/4)."

What are the Gators and Noles telling him?

"The Florida tight ends coach calls me and he tells me I can play either tight end or defensive end," he said. "Florida State tells me that they really need me at tight end bad."

For a 6-1 team, Ellis has contributed with four touchdowns on offense. While playing pot duty on defense, he has recorded two sacks.
