Five-Star DB Returns From Tallahassee's No. 3 ranked safety in the country took an unofficial visit to Florida State this weekend to watch the Seminoles take on the Duke Blue Devils for Homecoming. What was the North Augusta (SC) standout's impression's of the Garnet & Gold?

"It was good to finally get down there for a visit," C.J. Byrd said. "I was really impressed with their facilities. Their facilities are the best I've seen so far. I would rate my trip an eight."

Doak Campbell's scenic brick stadium really caught the eye of Byrd. "I've never scene anything like it," he said. "It looks more like a big house. It's cool."

One thing not working for the Seminoles was the fact that Byrd didn't get to meet any of the players.

"We left at the end of the third quarter so I didn't get to meet any of the players," he said. "We left early because we trying to make it back home."

The South Carolina standout still has several visits left. He's already been to USC on an official visit. He has plans to visit Florida State, South Carolina and Georgia officially.

"I'm going to make unofficial visits to the South Carolina/Clemson and Georgia/Georgia Tech games," he said.
