Top JUCO WR will Visit FSU

With the loss of three wide receivers to graduation after the season, the Seminole coaching staff will be looking in the JUCO ranks for experience and speed. It appears that the staffs found just that and are targeting a 6-foot-1 and 170 pound pass-catcher with 4.25 40-yard dash speed.

"Florida State offered me and I plan on visiting them sometime after the season," Butler Community College sophomore Frantz Hardy said. "I like their offense and I'm from Florida."

Hardy, who is originally from Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington, will have three years to play three years for a division 1 program. He will graduate in May.

He just returned from an official visit to Auburn.

"It was a good, fun atmosphere," he said. "There were so many people there cheering for Auburn and everyone there made it feel like home."

The former Dade Country star will also visit South Carolina and Cal.

"Right now I'm open and I'm in no rush to make a decision," he said. "I'm looking for someplace that I will be comfortable playing for."

This season, he has caught 34 passes for 815 yards and five touchdowns.

In two weeks, his team will square off against Pearl River Community College for the National Championship.
