Top LB Has Noles and Canes on Top
"I liked my visit," 6-foot-1 and 207 pound linebacker Antonio Clay said. "I would rate my visit a nine. I'm really considering Florida State because it's nice and close to home. I got to meet with Coach Bowden this time and it really made a difference."
The four-star standout has a top four of Miami, Florida State, Georgia and Oklahoma but two teams stand out the most?
"Miami and Florida State are neck and neck," he said. "Playing for Coach Coker at Miami would be a dream."
Clay considers his game a lot like the play of a potential Seminole All-American.
"I think my game compares to Ernie Sims' style," he said. "I'm an outside linebacker that can rush the passer. When I was down there I got to talk with Coach Steele quite a bit and he really knows the game. He has a blueprint."
The Georgia standout, who would like to announce a decision before Christmas, told Scout.com that it probably will come down to one big factor.
"It will come down to who I trust the most," he said.
This upcoming week, Clay will have in-home visits from Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Ole Miss and Florida State.
The Jeffersonville (GA) Twiggs County Senior is an excellent student who would like to major in Criminology.
"One day I would like to work for the FBI," he said.
