South Florida DT Names Two Leaders
"Florida State and Georgia are my tow leaders," Defensive tackle Jeffery Owens said. "I really click with Coach Haggins of Florida State and Coach Garner of Georgia. I'm still considering Miami but I haven't heard from them in a couple of weeks.
Do the Noles have any advantages over the Dawgs?
"I like both schools the same," he said. "However, I would have to give Florida State the advantage in location. It's closer to home."
Sunday evening Seminole recruiting coordinator John Lilly made an in-home visit with Owens. Tonight, he entertains Georgia.
"The visit with Coach Lilly went well," he said. "I learned some thing s about the school and if I work hard I'll get some early playing time."
Owens officially visited Georgia last week. He has scheduled visits set up with Oklahoma (12/17), Miami (1/21) and Florida State (1/28).
