Lilly Visits NJ CB's No. 5 rated cornerback got in-home visit from Florida State recruiter coordinator John Lilly. How did the visit go and where do the Noles stand with all-star defensive back?

"The visit with Coach Lilly went well," his father Jonnie Ray Garvin said. "We know Coach Lilly so well; he's like part of the furniture. We are very comfortable with him. Coach Bobby Bowden will be coming in on Monday evening."

Right now Florida State and Georgia are at the top of Garvin's list. The four-star standout will visit Boston College this week and Oklahoma on (12/10).

What separated Garvin from the rest of the pack?

"Michael has the skills and the technique," Mr. Garvin, who is his defensive back coach, said. "He can break on the ball and he understands the fundamentals of the game. If a guy runs a hitch and go, Michael will come up on the line of scrimmage and smash him."

The five-foot-8 and 180 pound corner can bench up to 340 pounds and last year he finished 6th in 100-meter at the National Track Championship.

Garvin plans on making a decision at the Army All-American All-Star game which will be played in San Antonio on January 15th.
