Looking More Offers

One of the most underrated players in the Northeast resides in Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco Prep. The 6-foot-2 and 275 pound standout already has two scholarship offers with possibly more on the horizon soon.

"I have offers from Towson and Hofstra," defensive tackle Eric Levy said. "Western Michigan is supposed to let me know tomorrow about an offer. Others schools that have been calling me are San Diego State, Cal, Fresno State and New Mexico State."

The All-All-County standout currently favors Cal, San Diego State, Towson and Western Michigan.

Levy's favorite team growing was the Florida Gators.

"My father was a walk-on punter for the Gators in the late 70's," he said. "We use to fly down for the Florida/Florida State game each year."

What does the New Jersey star defensive player to the table?

"I'm very athletic for my size and I'm a team player all the way," he said. "A couple of schools are interested in me as a center and I'll play wherever I'm needed."

Levy has a nice combination of speed and strength. He has been timed in the 40-yard dash in 5.1 seconds and he has squatted up to 420 pounds.

He is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.

Levy helped lead his team to the state championship game by recording 42 tackles and two sacks.
