South Florida DB Talks about his Commitment

Last Friday the Seminole got some good news when one of the top defensive backs from the Sunshine State verbally committed to the Garnet & Gold. The Territory.org caught up with Dorian Munroe of Miami (Fla.) Coral Reef for more in-depth interview.

How solid are you with your commitment? Will you visit any other schools?

I'm very solid with my commitment with Florida State. I will visit there on (1/7) and Florida on (1/21).

Why do you choose Florida State?

It's the best situation for me. Florida State was my childhood favorite and I get the opportunity to stay in the state. Also, it gives me a chance to play against Miami and Florida every year.

What do you bring to the table?

I'm a leader on the field kind of like a General. I hope to be that leader by my sophomore year at Florida State. I also have good instincts and I can react to the ball very quickly in the air.

Is there anyone out that your style of play compares to on the field?

A lot people say I'm another Ed Reed.

Is there any one that you would like to bring along with you to Florida State?

My two teammates in Eric Houston and Avery Vogt would be nice. If Kenny Phillips from Carol City came along with me and Michael Ray Garvin, it would be the best secondary in the country.
