Madison LB Sets FSU Visit Date
"I'm going to visit Tennessee on (1/14) and my teammate Charlie Graham and I are going to visit Florida State on (1/28)," linebacker Eugene Hayes said. "I'm also going to visit Auburn. Tennessee is my leader now because they have the tradition and a great atmosphere."
The All-Big Bend Defensive Player of the Year told Scout.com that class size is going to be his biggest factor in choosing a school.
Hayes, who was also honored as 1st team all-state in class 2A competition, weighed in on Florida State's newest commitment Charlie Graham.
"He's a very good player," he said. "Charlie is an excellent blocker and a great athlete."
Hayes also told Scout.com that he wouldn't eventually mind playing with his hand down at the next level.
"Right now I'm 215 pounds," he said. "I would like to play end in college if I can put on some weight."
In last two years, Hayes has recorded over 30 sacks.
He has been selected to play in the Florida/California All-Star which will be played in the Orange Bowl on January 2nd.
