Miami Linebacker will Visit FSU

In December, the Miami Hurricanes got a verbal commitment from one of the top linebackers in South Florida. However, the Noles will get an official visit from the 6-foot-2 and 220 pound standout.

"I'm going to take my last visits to Florida, Miami and Florida State," Eric Houston of Miami (Fla.) Coral Reef said.

Houston's teammate safety Dorian Munroe verbally committed to the Noles. The two teammates will visit the Seminoles together on (1/7).

During Team Florida All-Star practices, Houston turned some heads by playing all three linebacker spots.

"I'm having a good time flying around and hitting people," Houston said. "All the guys out here are great guys and play-makers. No side of the line is dominating. We got a good defensive line which really helps me out."

As a senior, Houston recorded 130 tackles which led all of Dade and Broward County.

He is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
