Miami RB Will Visit FSU This Weekend

Miami (Fla.) Pace is the home of one of top power-running backs in the country. Recently, scout.com caught up with the 5-foot-11 and 220 pound three-star standout.

Early in the recruiting process, the hometown Canes were the early leader for running back Conredge Collins but Miami has been dropped because they only have interest in the South Florida standout as a fullback. On the other hand the Noles has been recruiting him as a running back the entire time and could be the team to beat. Also, the Gators are in the picture now.

This upcoming weekend the Noles will entertain him on an official visit.

I got Florida State on (1/7), Ohio State on (1/14) and Ohio State on (1/28)," Collins said. "I'm wide open right now. It's going to come down to where I feel the most comfortable. The visits will be the key."

As a senior, Collins rushed for over 1,200 yards.

As a fullback, Collins helped lead his team to the state championship as a junior with 1,600 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Collins father played running back in the NFL for the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins.
