Will FSU DE Commitment Take More Visits?

Thursday evening Florida State Head Football Coach Bobby Bowden visited the home a 6-6 and 240 pound defensive end prospect that committed to the Garnet & Gold last month. There's been a report out there by another recruiting service that the Folkston (Ga.) Charlton County standout is considering more visits. What's the latest?

"The only visit I'll take is to Florida State on (1/28)," Justin Mincey said. "I'm a 100 % Seminole."

On Thursday, three Seminole coaches traveled to Folkston for an in-home visit. How did it go?

"It went great," he said. "Coach Bowden, Haggins and Allen all stopped by. I was very impressed with Bobby Bowden. It feels even better to be a Seminole."

Mincey, who is one of the top defensive linemen in the state of Georgia, helped lead his team to the state finals as a junior and senior (won state title as a senior). As a junior, he recorded 86 tackles and nine sacks.

The Scout.com No. 8 rated defensive end in the country hasn't qualified academically yet but he's close.
