First Stop: Tallahassee

This weekend, an athletic 6-foot-6 and 270 pound offensive tackle from Orlando Edgewater is set for his first official visit. His first stop will take him to Tallahassee.

"I got Florida State this weekend," offensive tackle Quinton Brown said. "My family and I are driving up while my teammate Matt Hardrick will fly up."

He will also visit North Carolina State (1/14), Florida, West Virginia and possibly South Carolina.

In recent updates, the Edgewater senior has been favoring Florida State and North Carolina State. Has that changed?

"Right now I'm wide open," he said. "I grew up a fan of Florida. Tonight, I had Steve Spurrier in my house trying to talk up South Carolina. When he was at Florida, I was a big-fan of Steve."

Brown was a member of the team Florida All-Star team and he met several players during his experience.

"The Florida defensive line was a lot tougher than the California one," he said. "I had a lot of fun and met a lot of players like Fred Rouse."

Brown helped lead his team to the Class 6A State Championship game.

He is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
