Four-Star OL Gives Noles a Ten

Recently, Orlando Edgewater high school has been very good to Florida State. Last year two players from that school (Aaron Jones and Kenny Ingram) signed with the Noles. This year two offensive lineman from that same school took an official visit to Tallahassee over the weekend.

"The visit went better than I thought," offensive lineman Matt Hardrick said. The nature around Tallahassee was a lot nice than I thought. I would rate my visit a strong ten on a scale from one to ten."

What were the highlights of his trip to Tallahassee?

"It was eating dinner with Bobby Bowden and the nightlife," he said. "I went out with Aaron Jones and had a good time. I really hit it off with Jon Demps the defensive end from Pensacola. We know each other from an LSU unofficial visit. Hopefully, he's coming to Tallahassee."

Hardick told Scout.com that Florida State is his leader but that he would still take the rest of his visits.

"I go to San Antonio this week for the Army- All-Star game and then I got to Oklahoma straight from there. I also have visits set up with Florida (1/21) and Ole Miss on (1/28).

When he was on his visit did he hear anything on the Florida State search for a new offensive line coach?

"I was told that I would hear from the new coach in about two weeks," he said. "They were going to interview four people and then hire one of them probably by next week."
