Will FSU DE Commitment Take Visits?

Last week four-star defensive end prospect Everette Brown shocked the recruiting world by committing to Florida State over North Carolina and Virginia Tech. For the longest time it was thought that the 6-foot-2 and 230 pound standout would stay closer to home. Will he continue to take visits and make Seminoles fan all over sweat out his commitment to the very end?

"I'm not going to take anymore visits." Everette Brown of Wilson (NC) Beddingfield said. "Even if I did go, it wouldn't make a difference because I'm going to be a Seminole.
For the longest time it was thought that distance would be a factor with the Brown family. What changed?

"It all changed when I went on my visit to Florida State and I really good feeling about it," he said. "My family liked it very much also. What really did it was that I liked the fact that Tallahassee in a college town with two schools. I love the college atmosphere. In the end my parents, my parents said the decision was up to me."

Now that he's done with his football season and recruitment was the next step?

"I've joined the basketball team," he said. "I plan on coming down to Florida State for the spring game and hanging out a little bit. After high school ends, I plan on enrolling in the second summer school session so I can get a jump start on school and so I can start working out with my new teammates."

Brown is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
