Up Next: Tallahassee

One of the rising prospects in the Southeast hails from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas's. This weekend the 6-foot-1 and 175 pound standout visited North Carolina State. Next weekend, its Florida State's shot to impress him.

"My visit to North Carolina State went very well," wide receiver Richard Goodman said. "The atmosphere is great because a lot of the players are from Florida which is nice. I would rate my visit a ten."

Up next for Goodman is an official visit to Florida State on (1/28) and possibly a mid-week visit to Oklahoma. The Seminoles could still the team to beat despite a great visit to Raleigh.

"With Florida State being in-state they might be tough to beat," he said. "It's going to come down to where I feel the most comfortable outside of football. The Oklahoma visit is still up in the air. They called and I need to call them back."

Another Florida State team site competitor has been spreading a rumor that the Seminoles haven't officially offered him and Goodman puts that false rumor to rest.

"I have an offer in writing," he said. "It came via Fed Ex."
