South Florida OL gets Visit from Living Legend

One of the hottest recruited offensive tackles in the country resides in Miami (Fla.) South Miami. This afternoon he has a living legend in Bobby Bowden in his living room. Tonight, Coach Meyer of Florida will stop by as well.

"The visit with Bobby Bowden was awesome," 6-foot-7 and 255 pound tackle Simon Codrington said. "It's great to have the prestige of Bobby Bowden in your living room. My Grandmother was real impressed."

Word has leaked out that Florida State's new offensive line coach is Marshall's Mark McHale despite not being officially named yet.

"I've talked with Coach McHale on the phone for a good bit," he said. "He's very impressive and he's put several players into the NFL. He's also very excited to get to work."

Despite, having a great visit with the Seminole, Codrington isn't ready to name a favorite.

"I'm still need time to sort things out," he said. "I'm looking for the best overall situation. I want to decide a day or two before signing day."

Codrington has officially visited Auburn, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Florida and Florida State.

Tonight, Florida head Coach Urban Meyer will stop by for an in-home visit.
