One of the hottest names of late, resides in Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas. The 6-foot-1 and 185 pound wide receiver just returned from his Florida State visit. Did he give the Seminoles good news?

"I committed to Florida State," Richard Goodman said. "I liked the college town atmosphere and it looks like a really cool place to live."

Why did he choose FSU?

Florida State has had a lot of great wide receivers like Peter Warrick, Ron Dugans and Javon Walker and I feel like I have similar talents," he said. "I feel that I can have a good career at Florida State."

What was the highlight of his trip?

"The coaches were breaking down film of Peter Warrick and compared it to a highlight of mine and I thought that was really cool."

Goodman was hosted Decody Fagg and he had a chance to hang out with Antonio Cromartie and Fred Rouse.

"I think that all the recruits on the visit had a great time and I think Florida State has a great shot with all of them."

As a senior, he caught 40 passes for 501 yards with seven going for touchdowns. He added three more touchdowns on kick returns.

Goodman is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
