Nation's No.1 RB Returns From FSU Visit

Pahokee (Fla.) is the home of's No.1 rated running back in the country. Some believe that the 5-foot-9 and 185 pound five-star standout is one of the finest backs to ever come through the state of Florida. This past weekend, he took an official visit to Florida State. Did the Noles impresss him?

"I rated my visit to Florida State as a nine," running back Antone Smith said. "The highlight of my time there was the banquet."
Former high school five-star running back Leon Washington was his host. Smith also got to hang with some former Seminole standouts.

"I got to hang out with John Davis, Terrell Buckley and Ron Dugans," he said. "They are great guys."

With only two day away from National Signing Day, is he any closer to a decision.

"I still very much open," he said. "I don't have a favorite. "I'm going to thing about it and I'll make a decision tomorrow. I won't announce that decision until 2:50 PM on Wednesday.

Smith has taken official visits to Miami, Auburn, Florida and Florida State.

The Pahokee standout rushed for 2,814 yards and 44 touchdowns in 12 games as a senior and led Pahokee to the Class 2A state championship with 276 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
