Union County TE Likes Noles

With the Seminoles set to graduate two tight ends after the upcoming season, look for the Garnet & Gold to try and sign two players at that position for the class of 2006.  One player that could be targeted resides in Lake Butler (Fla.) Union Country

6-foot-2 and 216 pound tight end Kasey Nobles is one of the top tight ends in the state of Florida.  As a junior he was selected first team all-state in 2B competition and he was also selected Union County Co-Offensive Player of the year.

Nobles, who is nicknamed ‘Little Shockley' creates mismatches with his speed and excellent hands.  However, he doesn't feel those are his best attributes.

"I think my strength and route-running ability sets me apart," he said.  "My max bench-press now is 310 pounds."

Florida, Florida State, Miami, Georgia and Georgia Tech are some of the schools he list at this early state in his recruitment.

"Florida State stands out to me," he said. "I like them.  Florida use to throw to the tight end a lot.  Miami produces a lot of good tight ends."

Last summer Nobles attended the Florida State camp with his teammate running back C.J. Spiller

Nobles is listed as the 51st top junior in florida according to Florida Kids. us.

As a junior, he caught 29 passes for 500 yards and eight touchdowns.
