Did the Noles Offer Tennessee TE?

According to Florida State, signing a couple of tight ends will be a big priority and need. It looks like tight end coach John Lilly has his eyes on a 6-foot-4 and 235 pound standout from Alcoa (TN).

Tight end Brandon Warren appears like he'll be one of the heaviest recruited players at his position in the country and it looks like the Noles are about ready to thrown their name into the hat.

"I have 35 offers now," Warren said. "Some of the big-name schools to offer me are Miami, Oklahoma, LSU, Tennessee and Ohio State. My coach told me that Florida State is going to offer."

Does he have any interest in the Seminoles?

Oh yes," he said. "I definitely have interest in them. They have one of the greatest college coaches of all time. They also have a solid program and I love their tradition. I hope to take a visit down their when they play Miami."

Warren doesn't have a top five yet but he's close to narrowing things down.

"In about two weeks, my coach and I will sit down and narrow down a top five," he said.

The Tennessee standout helped lead Alcoa to a state title in 2004 by producing 45 catches for 1,000 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior. He also added 20 sacks, 25 tackles for loss and 70 overall tackles.

Warren could produce on either side of the ball at the next level but he prefers tight end.
