FSU Visits Top Guard's School
J.B. Walton is a dominating guard that already has offers from Tennessee, Nebraska, Georgia, Ohio State, Maryland and Florida.
"Florida State Coach Lilly has already been by our school," Walton said. "I like what he was telling my coaches. If Florida State were to offer, they would be in my top ten. Right now my top four are Nebraska, Florida, Tennessee and Maryland."
The 6-foot-3 and 270 pound standout is very athletic for his size.
"My strength on the field is pulling," he said. "I can really get up the field. I hit one guy and move on to the next."
"I think the thing that separates him from other lineman is his ability to move," said Coach Scott Chadwick. "He's got tremendous mobility and agility for a 270-pound guy. He really runs more like a strong safety or linebacker. We try to take advantage of that, we run the old Redskin counter with him pulling from the tackle spot. We run a lot of tosses and pitches."
This summer, Walton has plans to attend the Penn State football camp.
