Noles High on Suwannee Standout

Several teams from the Southeast are in hot pursuit of a strong-safety from Live Oak (Fla.) Suwannee, including Florida, Florida State and Georgia. Where do the Noles stand with the 6-foot-0 and 209 pound standout?

"I have a top three of Georgia, Florida State and Florida," Dustin Doe said. "Georgia is on top because they have offered. Florida State is my favorite team growing up and I love them. I love the intensity that Coach Mickey Andrews brings. Their defense really gets after it. I really enjoy talking with Coach Strong and Mattison of Florida on the phone."

This summer, Doe will attend football camp at both Florida and Florida State.

"I will camp at Florida on June 5th," he said. "Florida is recruiting me real hard. I feel Florida State is close to offering me. They will probably offer me at the camp."

Doe participated in the Jacksonville camp and he had an impressive showing. He ran a 4.63 40-yard dash to go along with a vertical jump of 34.5 inches.

Recently, Doe transferred to Suwannee high school from Jasper (Fla.) Hamilton County.

"I'm allowed to practice but I'm not allowed to play in the jamboree," he said. "Right now, I'm running 1st string outside linebacker."
