Noles Offer Clearwater OL

Recently, the Seminoles offered an offensive lineman from Clearwater (Fla.) Central Catholic. Where do the Noles stand with the 6-foot-5 and 318 pound standout?

"Coach Dickey offered me last week and half ago," Kevin Young said. "I know they are really short on offensive lineman right now and I'd be glad to play for them any time."

Growing up Young was a fan of the Miami Hurricanes. However, it looks like the Seminoles are the team to beat.

"I wanted to go to Miami but they signed five or six lineman last season and I'm looking for early playing time," he said. "Playing time is one of my biggest factors. I want to stay in state, and Florida State looks really good right now."

Young, who has a total of seven offers, will camp this summer at the Down & Dirty and Florida State camps.

He also plays defense for his high school team. As a junior, he recorded 60 tackles, two sacks and 13 quarterback pressures.

Scouting Report: Strong blocker, finds people to hit, always has a body on somebody, decent technique but he uses his strength mostly.
