Noles Offer South Florida DB
Brandon Heath has an outstanding spring game which might have determined what position he will play in college. On defensive he recorded 11 tackles with an interception which impressed several scouts in attendance.
"I'm being recruited for both positions," Heath said. "But, after my spring game, the coaches are talking more defensive back to me. It doesn't matter where I play in college."
The Seminoles are the latest team to offer him and the Hurricanes could be next.
"Miami said if I come to their camp that they will offer," he said. "Florida State just offered. I just got off the phone with them and the coach said that they can't wait for me to visit."
Heath still has the Gators on top but the Noles and Canes are moving up his list a bit.
"Florida is number one on my list now," he said. "Miami is probably number two or three now and Florida State is number four or five."
Other schools that the South Florida Standout is considering are West Virginia, Louisville, and North Carolina State.
"My biggest factor will be depth at the free-safety position," he said. "I won't decide to until close to signing day. If I could visit five schools today, it would be West Virginia, Louisville, North Carolina State, Florida and Florida State."
As a junior, he caught 32 catches for 580 yards with five touchdowns. On defense he recorded 32 tackles with three interceptions.
