Noles or Gators?

The Seminoles are in a heated battle with the Gators to sign the top back in the Southeastern part of the country. Recently, the Lake Butler (Fla.) Union Country standout visited Gainesville for junior day.

"We had a great time hanging out by a lake and I hit it off with a couple of players like Tim Tebow," running back C.J. Spiller said. "Right now Florida is on top because it's closer to home and I have been able to spend a lot of time over there."

The Noles are his favorite team growing up. Will they have a shot at speed running back?

"Florida State is going to a spread offense and I like that," he said. "However, the depth situation is better at Florida. I'm going to do whatever is best for me. There's going to be competition at all of the schools."

This summer, the 5-foot-11 and 185pound standout with 4.4 40-yard dash speed will spend time at both Gainesville and Tallahassee.

"This Sunday, I might go to the one day Florida camp and I will probably spend a couple of days over at the Florida State camp," he said.
