Tidbits From the FSU Football Camp

The Second day of the Florida State camp is well under way and there have been some outstanding performances. Check out some of tidbits from the morning session.

There are several impressive players at the camp. However, some big names won't be coming until tomorrow. Clearwater Central Catholic's Kevin Young and Daron Rose (unofficial) will be there tomorrow as well as Jacksonville (Fla.) Jackson's Jamal Harvey.

Today, quarterback Christian Ponder had a solid showing. Tomorrow, he heads to the Georgia Tech camp and he will probably have a decision shortly. He hasn't been offered or invited to the Coach Bowden's office yet.

Drew Weatherford's younger brother (Joe) has caught my eye today. He is going to be a junior this upcoming year at Land O Lakes high school. His strong arm was very noticeable.

Things are looking very good for defensive tackle Ryan McMahon of Rome (GA). From what we hear, it sounds like he pulls the trigger tomorrow. Look for an interview with him later today.

Wide receiver Adrian Cannon has caught our eye as well. The Auburn Hills (MI) Avondale standout has been working out in Tallahassee since June. If he gets an offer, don't be shocked see him commit on the spot.

We hear that Miami Gulliver Prep Evan Bellamy has a verbal offer from the Seminoles. The 6-foot-4 and 309 pound standout is visiting the camp with his coach. However, he's not participating because of a sprained ankle.

Wide receiver Carlton Salters and defensive back Ochuko Jenije of North Florida Christian have been very impressive in one on one drills.
