Friday's FSU Football Camp Tidbits

On Friday, the Seminoles had another impressive showing and the Garnet & gold got some good news with defensive tackle Ryan McMahon confirming his commitment. Find out who else is shining in Tallahassee.

Florida State has made quite an impression on quarterback D'Vontrey Richardson of Leesburg (GA) Lee County. If fact, we hear that the Noles are the team to beat.

"I've very high on Florida State right now," Richardson said. "They are even with Clemson now."

From what we understand, the Seminoles will give the 6-foot-1 and 205 pound standout a chance at quarterback. The Noles will also allow him to play baseball in college.

"I wouldn't go pro unless I was drafted in the first round," he said.

Richardson plans on taking all five official visits before making a decision.

According to his high school coach, Prattville (Fla.) linebacker Tim Rawlinson will most likely leave Tallahassee with a scholarship offer.

Defensive back Adam Lott of Plant City (Fla.) was one of the most impressive players that we have seen at this camp and he was shutting down whomever he went against. The 5-foot-9 corner is the nephew of Seminole wide receiver Joslin Shaw. He has offers from UCF, FIU and USF.

Offensive tackle Daron Rose of Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson is set to arrive in town sometime this afternoon.
