Friday Night Lights Recap

This week there were several impressive performances by prospects committed to Florida State or looking hard at the Seminole. Tight end commitment Brandon Warren was one of those players that starred on Friday night.

Tallahassee North Florida Christian's Marcus Sims ran the ball 16 times for 114 yards and one touchdown.

Percy Harvin of Virginia Beach (VA) Landstown had 10 receptions for 242 yards and three touchdowns.

Harvin's Teammate Damon McDaniel had 13 receptions for 152 yards and four touchdowns.

Seminole quarterback commitment D'Vontrey Richardson was 9 of 15 passes (0 interceptions) for 181 yards and one TD. He also rushed for 133 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Richardson's teammate Ryan Broadhead recorded nine pancake blocks as Lee County ran 51 plays for a total of 420 yards of offense.

Patrick Robinson of Miami Gulliver Prep carried the ball six times for 125 yards and one touchdown. On defense, he recorded six tackles and two interceptions.

Robinson's teammate Anthony Leon caught two passes for 107 yards and tow touchdowns. On defense he made eight tackles with one going for a loss.

Cornerback Ryan Hill of Tallahassee Rickards returned a kickoff 69-yards and he had a 73-interception return for a score in the fourth quarter.

Running back C.J. Spiller of Lake Butler Union County had 13 touches for 195 yards and two scores in three quarters.

Florida State commitment Brandon Warren of Alcoa (TN) touched the ball three times and scored on each (16, 75 and 7 yards).

Seminole quarterback commitment Christian Ponder was 29 of 45 for 319 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed the ball 85 yards with one score.
