Top CB Rates FSU Visit a Ten!

This morning the Scout.com No. 9 ranked cornerback in country returned from his Florida State official visit. How did the 6-foot-1 and 195 pound four-star standout from Waldorf (MD) like his time in Tallahassee?

"I would rate my visit to Florida State a ten because I got all my questions answered and I really liked it there," A.J. Wallace said. "My father really liked the coaches and people there. The highlight of my trip was meeting the players."

Wallace was hosted by starting cornerback Tony Carter and he also got to hang out with a few other players and coaches.

"Tony Carter was my host," he said. "I also got to meet Xavier Lee and his brother. The players had a lot of good things to say about Florida State and they said it would be a good opportunity for me. The coaches told me how I would fit into the program. The coaches said if I was good enough I could start as a freshman but with Cromartie and Carter there it would be difficult. They said learning from both of them would be a good tool."

What were his thoughts on the game?

"The defense played great," he said. "They were upset about giving up two scores. It was a little hotter than I expected but I liked it. The warchant from the crowd was crazy."

One of the biggest factors for the Maryland standout is early playing time.

"Ohio State, Florida State, Nebraska, Florida and Miami all have good opportunities," he said. "The Miami coach said that they will loose some corners and they have a few injured."

Wallace has already visited Ohio State and he has plans to visit Nebraska, Florida and Miami.

Seminole commitment Myron Rolle has been in the ear of Wallace.

"Myron has called but he's not really recruiting me," he said. "He told me that he committed to Florida State because it felt right."
