RR's Top Five Seminole Stars of the Week

The Seminoles are off to perfect 4-0 start and Renegade Report.com breaks out its top five star Florida State football players of the week. Who landed in the number one spot?

1. Defensive tackle Broderick Bunkley‘s season was almost in jeopardy due to academics. With new life, the 6-foot-3 and 286 pound senior was the Renegade Report.com No.1 player of the week by recording five tackles, three for a loss and a sack. In four games played, he has racked up 18 tackles, a team high seven tackles for a loss and three and half sacks. If Bunkley keeps up his production, he'll be a lock for All-ACC Honors.

2. Coming out of high school, wide receiver Chris Davis was touted as the next Peter Warrick. However, injuries and the depth chart have slowed him down. A starter as a true junior, he's starting to live up to his hype. In the Syracuse game, he had four receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. In four games played, he has caught 17 passes for 267 yards. Last year as a sophomore, Davis only caught 14 passes.

3. As a first year starter as a senior, defensive end Kamerion Wimbley is leading the team with four sacks. The former Wichita (KS) high school standout has also recorded 11 tackles, four tackles for a loss and nine quarterback hurries. Against the Orange, he led the Seminoles with two recorded sacks.

4. Willie Reid returned from injury with a splash. The senior wide receiver had a team-high five catches for 70 yards, including a 43-yard touchdown pass off a deflection to open the game's scoring in the first quarter.

5. Junior running back Lorenzo Booker probably isn't going to win a rushing title. However, he seems to have a knack for making a big-play in each game. This past weekend against the Orange was no different. Booker racked up 113 total yards, including a 71-yard catch-and-run on a screen pass. The California native has 311 all-purpose yards for the season to go along with three touchdowns.
