Friday Night Lights Recap: 10/17

This past Friday evening there were several outstanding performances by high school standouts either looking at Florida State or committed.'s No.1 player in the country Myron Rolle returned to the lineup after overcoming a nagging injury and he didn't disappoint.

Seminole strong-safety commitment Myron Rolle back his first game from a nagging injury recorded 15 tackles, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one sack. On offense he had one reception for a 78 yard TD from his wide receiver position.

Patrick Robinson of Miami Gulliver Prep caught two passes for 75 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed for 95 yards on only six carries. On defense, he recorded seven tackles.

Seminole free-safety commitment Anthony Leon of Miami Gulliver Prep recorded eight solo tackles to go along with a punt-return average of 45 yards.

Seminole quarterback commitment D'Vontrey Richardson was 10 of 18 for 271 yards passing. He also rushed for 93 yards.

Offensive tackle Ryan Broadhead of Leesburg (GA) Lee County graded out with a 94% and he recorded 8 pancakes with no sacks allowed.

Seminole offensive center commitment Chad Roark of Ada (OK) helped lead his team to a 17-0 victory over the #4 ranked team in the state. He had 16 knockdown blocks while going against a 6-foot-2 and 260 pound noseguard. On defense he had 8 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery.

Wide receiver Percy Harvin of Virginia Beach (VA) Landstown had ten receptions for 157 yards receiving while his teammate Damon McDaniel chipped in on nine catches for 95 receiving.

Seminole quarterback commitment Christian Ponder was 27 of 40 for 397 yards and two touchdowns.

Marcus Sims of Tallahassee North Florida Christian rushed the ball six times for 94 yards rushing.
