Noles Offer South Florida Center

With the loss of center Chad Roark to Oklahoma, the Seminoles have set their sites on another center prospect. Recently, the Noles offered a 6-foot-2 and 275 pound standout from Miami (Fla.) South Miami.

"Florida State verbally offered me but I haven't got anything in the mail yet," Brandon Davis said. "They told me that they want to offer me a four-year scholarship to play for them. Auburn seems close to offering and Kentucky and South Carolina are calling."

Davis would like to visit Florida State and Auburn before making his college decision.

"Florida State is recruiting me as a center," he said. "They only have like six offensive linemen coming back and they would like to sign seven this year."

On the field, Davis is a solid drive blocker. Off the field, he's all about family.

"I'm a family person that likes to barbeque," he said. "I do things like cut the grass."

Davis is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
