With the bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fourth, Drew took a 1-1 pitch deep over the fence in right field for his second grand slam of the season to give the Tribe a 6-3 lead.
FSU made it 10-3 with four runs in the bottom of the fifth. Nick Rogers and Brown led off the inning with walks and Smith reached on an error. Bryan Zech started the scoring with a single to left that brought home Nick Rogers and Brown. Drew's double to right scored Smith for his fifth RBI of the game. Zech closed out the scoring on Tony McQuade's groundout.
Rogers' solo home run to right, his seventh of the year, increased FSU's lead to 11-3.
Duke cut the lead down to five with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh, but the Seminoles answered with three in the bottom half of the inning. Ryan Barthelemy's 15th homer of the year accounted for the second and third runs. Zech came home on an error for the first run of the inning.
