Noles After Another JUCO Stud

The Florida State coaching staff has already landed an All-American JUCO offensive tackle and the Garnet & Gold are hot after another top lineman from the Junior College ranks.

Offensive lineman Brandon Walker of Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College has been heavily recruited by several programs such as Oklahoma, Arizona State, Michigan State, Oklahoma State and Illinois. Now it looks like the Noles have thrown their names into the hat for the four-star standout.

"I called Florida State today and I set up a visit with them for January 13th," the 6-foot-3 and 315 pound Brandon Walker said. "I grew up a fan of Florida State and I know all about their tradition."

Walker is very high on the Sooners now and he still has a visit set up with Oklahoma State on January 6th.

"Oklahoma has been my best visit so far," he said. "I've also visited Illinois and Arizona State. Florida State is new to my list."

Walker, who will graduate in May, was selected to the J.C. Grid-Wire Junior College All-American team.
