Noles After Another Center?

With the possibility of John Frady never being the same after his second shoulder surgery, it looks like the Noles are starting to turn up the heat on a second center prospects as an insurance policy.

"I have a visit set up with Florida State on January 13th," Melbourne (Fla.) center Ryan Wischnefski said. "Florida State said that they would have my offer on the trip. They have the advantage for sure because I grew up a fan of Wisconsin and Florida State."

About seven years ago, the 6-foot-2 and 320 pound center moved from Wisconsin to Florida.

"I love living in Florida he said. "The football is much better here. I would say my strength is my quickness off the ball. I like to hit defender before he can get out of his stances. I'm pretty good at pulling as well."

Wischnefski is also strong as an Ox with a bench-press of 410 pounds to go along with a squat of 560 pounds.

He should have no problems qualifying academically with a 3.7 grade point average to along with a 1040 score on the SAT.

"I have already visited North Carolina State and I'll visit FIU on January 20th," he said. "I'll make my decision after that visit."
