What's the Latest with Wimbley?

On November 5th against North Carolina State, starting right defensive end Kamerion Wimbley injured his knee and the Seminole leader in sacks is trying to battle his way back for the Orange Bowl. Renegade Report.com caught up with his position coach Jody Allen to get the latest.

"My prediction is that he'll be a game-day decision," defensive end coach Jody Allen said. "If he can keep making the progress that he has made and the trainers give him the ok, then it will be up to Kam. All of our coaches don't want him to play, if he's not comfortable and confident on his knee."

What exactly is holding back the four-senior from playing?

"Kam has his good days and his bad days," Allen said. "Sometimes his knee swells up. Kam has been doing some limited contact and he wants to play in his last game. He loves Florida State."

In ten games played, Wimbley recorded 24 tackles, 10.5 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks and 17 quarterback hurries.
