Noles Land Georgia Standout

This weekend one of the top athletes in the state of Georgia gave Florida State and Coach Bobby Bowden some good new. Check out this exclusion news on the Sandy Creek High School standout.

"I committed to Florida State," wide receiver Brent Brewer said. "It felt like I belonged there and I fit in with the players. I would rate my trip a ten all the way. The stadium blew me away."

This weekend the 6-foot-2 and 190 wide receiver from Tyrone (GA) got to hang out with several players such as Myron Rolle, Xavier Lee and Lorenzo Booker.

"That was the highlight of my trip," he said. "We went out and we also played video games. I really fit in with those guys and we are going to win some National Championships' together."

Brewer, a top baseball standout, got to meet with Coach Mike Martin.

"I plan on playing baseball down there and I want to room with D'Vontrey Richardson," he said.

Brewer and his host were trying to get five-star running back C.J. Spiller to join them in Tallahassee.

"We were trying to get C.J. to commit but he told us he was going to wait until signing day to make a decision," Brewer said.

Brewer selected the Seminoles over Georgia and Mississippi State.
