Noles Offer Georgia DB

In the class of 2006, the Seminoles signed defensive end Kevin McNeil of Kingsland (GA) Camden Country. In 2007 the Noles have already extended an offer to his teammate who is on of the top defensive backs in the state of Georgia.

"I called and talked with Coach McHale and he told me if I'm interested that I have a scholarship," safety Willie White said. "I'm very interested in Florida State because they win a lot of games and they have great tradition."

Will his former teammate Kevin McNeil be a factor at all?

"Yes, he'll be a big-factor because we are pretty good friends," the 6-foot-4 and 175 pound standout said. "He's got a lot of nice things to say about Florida State and it would be nice to see a familiar face from home everyday."

White told Renegade that he has interest in Florida State, South Carolina, Marshall, Virginia Tech and Florida.

"This summer I plan on camping at Notre Dame, Florida State, and South Carolina," he said. "If Florida State invites me to their junior day, I will be there."

White is a solid student who is already academically qualified with a score of 860 on the SAT test.
