Noles Offer Michigan DB

Florida State coaches are off to a fast start by offering several top prospects, including a standout cornerback from Orchard Lake (MI) St. Mary Prep school. Where do the Noles stand with him?

"Florida State Coach John Lilly offered me last week," Dionte Allen said. "We talk regularly and I'm supposed to talk with Coach Bobby Bowden next week. Florida State has always been my dream school."

Where do the Noles stand with the 6-foot-0 and 170 pound Hot 100 member?

"Florida State is in my top two with Michigan," he said. "I want to attend their junior day and I want to go out of state. I'll have to sit down with my family and discuss that. They will support me in any decision I make. However, I like Michigan a lot. I got a lot of friends that go to school there. They offered me as a sophomore."

Another team to keep your eyes on is the Southern Cal Trojans.

"My coach told me that USC just offered and I want to go check them out," he said. "I was going to commit before the season but I got a lot more opportunities to check out."

Allen is an excellent student who has a 3.0 grade point average to go along with an ACT test score of 21.

As a junior, he recorded 51 tackles and five interceptions.

I grew up a big-fan of Deion Sanders and Peter Warrick," he said. "I don' know much about their depth chart other than that they got Myron Rolle."
