What's the Latest with Brandon Warren?

Renegade Report.com caught up with tight end Brandon Warren, who could possibly be Florida State's top player signed at that position ever. What is the latest with 6-foot-2 and 235 pound standout?

"I'm just lifting weights and I'm getting ready to take the ACT test next month," Brandon Warren said. "I need a little improvement to qualify. I'm getting some help studying from some other top students in my class. I'm pretty confident that I'll make it."

When will Warren report to Florida State?

"I plan on coming down in June," he said. "I'm pretty anxious to get started. I was talking to friends the other day and my next game will be against Miami in the Orange Bowl which is pretty exciting."

The Alcoa (TN) senior will have a chance to compete for the staring tight spot with Charlie Graham and Caz Piurowski.

"It looks like the spot is pretty wide open," he said. "Florida State wants to use me like they did with Matt Henshaw last year. I'm also going to play some H-Back and Coach Lilly wants me to get some reps at defensive end so I can rush the passer on third downs."

Warren has been keeping tabs on his future teammates this spring.

"I talked with Myron Rolle the other say and it sounds like he's doing pretty good," he said.

Renegade Report.com will catch up to Warren next month to get another update on his qualification status.
