FSU on Top for LA DE?

Florida State is in hot pursuit of one of the top defensive ends in the country. Luckily for the Garnet & Gold the interest in mutual. In a recent update done by the LSU scout.com site, had the in-state team LSU as a big-leader. Is that actually the case?

This past weekend Luther Davis and his good friend Ahmad Paige took unofficial visit to Arkansas for their spring game.

"Arkansas is a nice University but none of really see ourselves playing there," Davis said. "Next up for us is the Scout.com camp at Ole Miss on April 30th."

In a recent update by the Scout.com LSU site, had the Tigers as a big-leader but Davis says otherwise.

"LSU is one of my leaders," he said. "But, my top three leaders are Florida State, LSU and Notre Dame. Ever since I was old enough to hold a football, I was a huge Florida State fan. I just found out Warrick Dunn is from Louisiana. Travis Minor, my favorite running back, is from Louisiana also. I will visit Florida State within a month."

Over the summer Davis has plans to camp at several schools.

"I'm definitely camping at Florida State," he said. "I also will camp at LSU, Notre Dame, Ole Miss and Tennessee. I won't be able to camp at Miami."

His best friend Ahmad Paige and him will most likely end up wearing the same colors together at the next level.

"Everyone around town knows by now that we'll end up at the same school together," he said. "When he got back from his Florida State‘s junior day, Ahmad wanted to commit but he didn't because I wasn't offered yet."
