Noles Make the Final Six for OL

Gainesville Offensive lineman Nick Claytor of Gainesville (GA) recently narrowed his list to six colleges and the Noles are one of those teams on that list. Where does the Garnet & Gold stand with the other teams in the hunt?

"Florida State had a great recruiting class and they are going to be very good in the future," Nick Claytor said. "It would be great to be part of that. It's only like five to six hours from my house."

Where do the other teams stand with the 6-foot-6 and 315 pound giant?

"I have a good relationship with the coaches from Georgia Tech and Auburn," he said. "Plus those two schools are close to home. Ohio State is a fine school in terms of academics and athletics. I like LSU because of Coach Mallory. I got wind that Notre Dame was trying to get in contact with me and I want to hear what they have to say."

Claytor will camp at some schools this summer and he'll narrow down his down his list even more before his season starts.

"I probably will have a decision sometime during my season," he said. "All six teams are even right now."

Georgia at one time was one of his favorites. However, the home-state team is out of the running now.

"They wanted me to come to camp before they offered," he said. "I got plenty of good offers and I don't know what I have left to prove."
