Ole Miss Commitment Looking at FSU

Florida State is hot pursuit of another Ole Miss commitment who is keeping his options open among two schools. What's the latest from the 6-foot-4 and 320 pound standout from Hammond (LA)? Will he still camp at FSU?

"I committed to ole Miss the other day because I really liked the school," Rishaw Johnson said. "I'm a 100% solid to them and I doubt that I will change my mind."

Two schools that are hoping that he will change his mind are LSU and Florida State.

"After my commitment made the internet, I got offered by LSU an hour later," he said. "I will camp at LSU later in the month. I will also camp at Florida State starting on July 5th.

What are the chances that the Seminoles can change his mind?

"I don't know, I have never been there before," he said. "I still keep in contact with Coach McHale through text-messaging."

At the Nike Combine in Baton Rouge, he ran a 5.11 40-yard dash. Johnson also benched 185 pounds 25 times.

"I feel my strength is my athletic-ability," he said. "I'm a very strong run-blocker."

Johnson is an excellent student who is on track to qualify academically.
