Defensive Photo Gallery: Part One

While the Florida State football team is taking a brief break from summer workouts in observance of the Fourth of July check out photos of some members of the defense. Included are shots of Lawrence Timmons, Darrell Burston and former FSU standout and first round draft choice Kamerion Wimbley.

Redshirt freshman cornerback Jamie Robinson has been taking it easy after twisting an ankle in one-on-one drills. He is expected to be back in action soon.

Walk-on safety Anthony Houllis will be battling for a starting spot come two-a-days in August.

Redshirt sophomore cornerback Tony Carter (left) has been showing freshman cornerback Ochuko Jenijee (right) the ropes.

Darrell Burston, a redshirt senior defensive end, is one of the few veterans on a young Seminole defense.

Safety Darius McClure has been dealing with an injured fibula but that didn't stop him from going up to get the football.

He's not as charismatic as former standout Ernie Sims but junior linebacker Lawrence Timmons might be just as talented.

Derek Nicholson is another member of an FSU linebacker corps that seems to get deeper and more talented each season.

Sophomore cornerback Michael Ray Garvin (right) has been impressive in one-on-one drills - so has sophomore receiver Richard Goodman (right).

Former Seminole cornerback Leroy Smith returned to Tallahasee to get in a work out.

So did Kamerion Wimbley who had time for a television interview beforehand.
